    Hi everyone,

    I'm excited to announce that DCTelnet v1.9 release is now available for classic Amiga computers on Retro32 BBS (source code on GitHub).

    What's new since v1.8:
    - Improved Telnet protocol support (Telnet engine rewritten from scratch)
    - Reqtools lib is now optional at startup
    - XEmulator library Settings panel
    - More robust library opening and closing logic.

    Pretty sure someone was running it on an A500.

    Hi,

    Compiled for 68 000 and 68 020 CPU. Works fine on A500 but requires a KS v2.0+!

    Of course, you'll need a TCP/IP stack, like AmiTCP, Miami or UAE bsdsocket.library or compatible.

    When I use my Amiga 500, I stick with AmiTCP since it's bundled with my X-Surf network card. It's really easy to configure thanks to the setup tool provided by the card's manufacturer.

    And when I'm running an emulator, I simply use the "bsdsocket.library" stack that comes with WinUAE.

    I've heard good thinks about the Roadshow stack. People say it's faster and more lightweight but I haven't tested it myself.

    ... Help! I can't find the "ANY" key.

    When I use my Amiga 500, I stick with AmiTCP since it's bundled with my X-Surf network card. It's really easy to configure thanks to the setup
    My first machine was an Apple2e, then it was all PCs, then a Mac and PC and still macs and PCs (maybe a little playtime with linux).

    But recently I have been having this lingering curiosity about the Amiga. I remember in my earlier days seeing ads for it and articles in gaming/computer mags and it was just SO much more ahead of its time than the others. I'm just starting to learn more about them now, what emulators are out there, what kind of hardware (like the Mister FPGA) "things" are out there (other than the real machines themselves). I'm kind of looking forward to learning and playing with it to be honest.
