I like floppies. There's something about the physicallity that I find
appealing, which is odd since I prefer ebooks to physical ones. I think
Me too actually. There are so many nostalgic memories tied to the physical floppies (both 5.25 and 3.5). The way they felt holding and sleeving them, the sounds the drives made, putting the labels on them and having them in a disk box that you could flip through.
Me too. In the 90s, for some years, I had a 3.5" floppy disk box next to my computer on my desk where I kept my floppy disks with various software and data, and I liked having those disks right there for easy access.
The floppy disk box I had was fairly inexpensive and simple, but I thought it was cool - It was a simple cardboard box with dividers that was packed flat and you'd put it together yourself, and the front of the box had "Economy diskette drawer" printed on it.
