Some day, if you're ever in the mood, you can I can spend 10 or 15 minutes playing a few hands of poker. I maintain https://dealer-s-choice.github.io/ but I'm not advertising, just a sincere offer if you ever get in the mood. I saw it's listed in the games you wanted to avoid, but...

This is pretty cool. By the way there is an old and probably not so easy to find anymore Android game called Poker Night. I forget if it had any clients other than the Android one. It could either host games or connect to existing games. And it played Hold'Em. I always thought it would be cool to have more clients that were compatible with that one. It had really good options for the players and game, used simple but not ugly graphics, no ads, all private connections.. Theoretically you could play for real money, I suppose. The host could assign dollar amounts to players iirc. I still have the APK if you can't find it and this sounds interesting. The icon I believe was a card back with a little crescent moon (for Poker Night).
