Hello
Since my mother board did not want to load Windows 32 bit I am stuck using windows 64 bit. The bbs runs but the users, file areas, and the message bases are gone.
The older machine is 32 bit the new machine is 64 bit
This is what I did.
1. Installed windows 64 bit on the new machine
2. Copied over all the 32 bit sbbs files to usb.
3. Copied all the sbbs files from the usb (Old 32 bit SBBS files) over to the sbbs directory on the 64 bit machine.
Both systems is using the same sbbs directory c:\users\phil\sbbs\

Are sysops 'stuck' with 64-bit Windows though? With enough RAM and
drive space, a 32-bit edition of Windows could be run in a VM in such a setup, and DOS doors would be easier to set up with such a setup.
